Garden on the Sea
Gulangyu Island is one of the most attractive landscapes of Xiamen tourist spots. With beautiful sceneries, Gulangyu Island is accredited as "garden on the sea". It is on the top list of ten excellent scenic areas of Fujian Province . The whole island is full of natural scenic spots and its main scenic spots include the Crag of Sunlight, Garden of Beans (Shuzhuang Huayuan), Bright Moon Garden (Haoyueyuan) and Yuyuan Garden.
Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Gulangyu Island (B)
Fly to Xiamen where your guide and driver will be there to pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel on Gulangyu island. This great little island just off the coast of Xiamen is a quiet little getaway, which has a very European feel. For the first half of the day you will be escorted by a guide to take you to the hotel on the island, give you an orientation and so on. The afternoon and evening will be free to enjoy by yourselves. Some of the sights here include, Shuzhuang Garden, Piano Museum, shopping street, the beach, beautiful colonial architecture, shopping and lots more.

Day 2 - Xiamen (B)
This morning go back across the water to Xiamen. This great little city has a very pleasant old worldly feel to it. Your time in Xiamen is almost all free to enjoy the cities sites and interesting back streets.

Day 3 - Yong Ding (B)
Today you will drive out to the charming town of Yongding to explore the fascinating Earth Buildings inhabited by the Hakka (Keja). You’ll have a local guide to give you some background in the morning then after lunch you’ll be free to wander at your own pace. Spend the evening in a simple guesthouse in town.

the Hakka(Keja) should be Han nationalty so they are not Minority people. This group of people moved to area in southern China for avoiding the crucial war in northern China thousand of years ago, but they still kept many of their living styles. Hope this will help the editor a bit.
