Discover a Hakka Castle
Located in the southeast Fujian Province and the west coast of Taiwan Straits, Xiamen is a traditional trading port in southeast China and a famous tourist coastal city as well. You will travel to an area where the Hakkanese originated and visit the special and amazing Hakka style architectures--Hakka Earth Buildings, villages; taste Hakka style food, experience Hakka's history and unique culture.
Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Beijing - Xiamen (L)
Uppon arrival in Xiamen, transfer to your hotel for check in. Then Visit Gulangyu Island with round-trip shuttle ship: Shuzhuang Garden, Piano Museum, Hi Heaven Museum with Puppet show and Nanyin Opera.
Hotel: 3 Stars or 4 Stars Hotel
Day 2 - Xiamen - Hakka Building (B,L,D)
After Breakfast, transfer to Nanjing. You will visite a Hakka Earthen Building and begin a trekking from Tianluokeng to Heguilou. In the evening, transfer to Yongding
Hotel: Overnight in a local Hakka Earthen Building or similar. Can choose a 3 star hotel (optional)
Day 3 - Hakka Building - Xiamen (B,L)
Half day trekking in Yongding Tulou. You will visit Zhencheng Building (nicknamed "the prince" of round tulou), Rusheng (smallest one); Fuyu (rich landlord courtyard style); Quiju (Putala palace style) and Chengqi. Jiqing buildings, the most completed and oldest tu lou in Yongding county .After lunch, transfer to Xiamen airport.
