A comprehensive tour of Korea's ancient, modern and natural wonders. We visit Seoul and the startling new National Museum. We take you to some of Korea's beautiful National Parks. We see one of the ten most historical cities in the world, with its temples and pagodas, and finish on the southern island of Jeju to visit the 12th century thatched village of Songup and its magnificent seaviews.
Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Beijing to Seoul
Included international flight from Beijing to Seoul and transfer to hotel.

Day2 - Seoul city tour and free time (B)
Today we enjoy our Seoul city tour including major landmarks like the Gyeogbock Palace, the Blue House, the Jogyesa Temple and the Folk Museum.

Day 3 - Bulkuksa temple and Sugguram grotto (B)
Today we take the train into the beautiful Korean landscape, visiting what is reputed to be one of the ten most historical cities of the world, scattered with temples, pagodas, ruined fortresses. Our highlights will be a visit to the Bulkuksa Temple and Sugguram Grotto, one of Asia's most famous Buddhist shrines, before making our way to the traditional Gyongjou Kolon hotel, set in 59 acres with woods and lakes.

Day 4 - Tu Muli park, The National Museum, Chomsungdae and Busan (B)
We travel via Tu muli park to the ultra-modern National Museum representing the history and art of South Korea. Then onto the Chomsungdae, by contrast the oldest astronomical observatory dating from around 640BC. Then we take a short drive to Busan and Yongdusan Park, visit the famous fish market. We spend the night in bustling Busan, famous for its shopping arcades.

Day 5 - Fly to Jeju Island, Yongduam Rock/Moksukwon park and the Folklore Museum (B)
From Busan we take a short flight to Jeju Island off the south tip of the Korean peninsula where we will spend two nights. Today we visit the unmissable sea-views from Yongduam Rock and Moksukwon park followed by a visit to the Folklore museum.

Day 6 - Songup Village, Sunrise Peak, Green Tea Museum, Jongbang waterfall and Joong mun Resort (B)
Along with its natural beauty, Jeju is probably best known for Songup village. Founded as the island's capital in 1200, enjoy its winding alleys and traditional stone courtyard thatched houses. A fine view of the village can be seen from Sunrise peak, by which time you will enjoy a visit to the Green tea museum. We will be sure to see the Jonbang waterfall tumbling into the sea and take a break at the Joong mun resort.

Day 7 - Return flight to Beijing via Seoul (B)
Private car transfers take us to Jeju airport and onto Seoul airport for our included international flight back to Beijing.
