This tour lets you discover the history of Cambodia. The Angkor temples will be an unforgettable experience, but this tour offers you another dimension of Cambodia by the sights you will see and the people you will meet while trekking through small villages.


Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Beijing - Siem Reap

Siem Reap is the gateway to Angkor Wat located 7km south of Siem Reap. Upon your arrival in Siem Reap you will transfer to the hotel. The highlight of your trip awaits you at Angkor Wat. In the afternoon you are free to explore the markets and Pagoda’s around town and get a better look what Cambodian life is all about.

Day 2 - Siem Reap – Phnom Bok Camp 30km (B,L,D)

After your breakfast depart for a long trek to Rolous. Rolous is a temple that was constructed in the 8th and 9th century. The three main temples are Lolei, Preah Ko and Bakong. After your exploration, continue towards Wat Lohok which you will explore and where you will enjoy a break and a snack. The continuing trek leads you through small rural villages and over sand paths to your final destination of the day: Phnom Bok Camp. The camp is already set up for you and you have some time to catch a breath before you take off for a climb up 640 steps to the ruin of Phnom Bok. On top of Phnom Bok you will enjoy sunset and a magnificent view over the plains below.

Day 3 - Phnom Bok – Banteay Srey camp 30km (B,L,D)

After a local breakfast at the camp departure for Banteay Srey. Banteay Srey remains the best preserved temple in Cambodia and offers stunning bass relief and other stone carvings. The temple is small in size but huge of significance in understanding the Angkorian Era. We continue to Wat Lor. The road to these temples passes through pretty countryside, a true relaxing experience. Our catering team awaits you at camp and supplies you with some excellent food.

Day 4 - Banteay Srey camp – Angkor - Siem Reap 25km (B,L,D)

After a local breakfast at the camp, transfer a bit to the starting point of the trek towards Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is the biggest religious monument in the world and represents the Khmer heritage. You will explore Angkor and find yourself “discovering” new temples in the jungle around every corner. You will visit the former capital Angkor Thom (Bayon, Terrace of the Elephants) and Ta Prohm. Ta Prohm is famous for its massive overgrown trees. Late afternoon cycle to Banteay Kdey and explore this massive complex before to head back to Siem Reap for refreshing yourselves and dinner

Day 5 - Siem Reap - Beijing (B)

After breakfast you are free to explore the town of Siem Reap and buy your necessary souvenirs at the local market known as Psa Chas (Old Market). Upon your departure we will transfer you to the airport to take your flight.
