After a few days discovering Kathmandu, which stand at around 1400 meter high, leave for a 6 day trek. This trip is aimed at persons with a good health condition, but you don't need to be a trek expert to participate to this trip, it's within anybody's reach!
Travel Itinerary
Day 1 - Beijing - Kathmandu (B)
Take your flight from Beijing through Hong Kong and arrive in Kathmandu in the evening. Transfer from the airport to your hotel.

Day 2 - Kathmandu (B)
This morning if the weather permit, you can enjoy a mountain flight around the Mt Everest (optional, not included in the quotation). Then discover the city of Kathmandu, walk through the bazaar and labyrinthine back streets of the old city. Then visit Swayambhunath Stupa the “Monkey Temple”, situated on top of a high hill, it is the oldest shrine in the world and was established more that 2500 years ago.

Day 3 - Kathmandu (B)
After breakfast visit Bhaktapur. The “Ancient city of Asia” was previously known as “Bhatgaon”. “Bhat” means rice and “gaon” means village. This afternoon you will see Pashupatinath temple and Bodhnath stupa.

Day 4 - Kathmandu - Pokhara - Tirkhedhunga (B)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Pokhara. At your arrival meet the trek leader and drive to Nayapul (around 1hour 1/2), then start your trek to Tirkhedhunga. You will trek steeply down to the river and cross by a good bridge to Birethanti village (3400 feet). The trail follows the east bank of the Bhurungdi River with some detours to avoid cliffs. 3 hours trek.

Day 5 - Tirkhedhunga - Ghorepani (B,L,D)
The day entails a climb of over (4000'/1219m), on a fairly good trail. From Tirkhedhunga, the trail crosses a stream on a good suspension bridge then drops down and crosses the Bhurungdi Khola on a large bridge. The trail climbs steeply on a stone taircase to the Magar village of Ulleri (6600 ft) and then through pastures and cultivated fields. The fields soon give way to rhododendron forest up as we head up to Nangathanti and up to the top of the Ghorapani Pass. 6/7 hrs trek.

Day 6 - Ghorepani - Tadapani (B,L,D)
Early morning hike (about one hour) up to Poon Hill (10,000 feet) for sunrise. The panorama from Poon Hill on a clear day is extraordinary: Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Nilgiri, Annapurna 1, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Glacier Dome. After sunrise, return to the camp, then set forth on our day's trek. The trail makes a steep descent through rhododendron and magnolia forest and traverses east to Tadapani. 5/6 hrs trek.

Day 7 - Tadapani - Ghandrung (B,L,D)
The route continues downwards in a Southeasterly direction through thick forest towards Pokhara. After sometime leave the forest behind and cross sparsely covered hills. Going further down arrive at Ghandrung - a prosperous settlement with solidly built lodges and houses. This is one of the largest Gurung villages and many of the men from this area have served in the armies of Britain and India. 4 hrs trek. In the afternoon, visit one of the few Gurung villages to see their life style.

Day 8 - Ghandrung - Pothana (B,L,D)
After breakfast proceed down the steep trail passing through farmland until we come to the Modi Khola river, which begins its life in the Annapurna Sanctuary. We cross a narrow suspension bridge and ascend quite rapidly to the village of Landrung. The landscape is broken by a few houses and the odd school. After lunch we climb steadily through Rhododendron forest along the ridgeline and reach the village of Pothana. 6 hrs trek.

Day 9 - Pothana - Phedi (B,L,D)
End your trek at Phedi and drive to Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge.

Day 10 - Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge (B,L,D)
Spend the whole day at Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge. Activities such as walks lead by expert local guides from one hour to full day hikes focusing on cultural exploration, bird watching, botany or butterfly sighting, or just plain exercise. Options: yoga, massage, meditation therapies, Pokhara sightseeing, paragliding, para-hawking, micro-light flights and golf at the famous Himalayan Golf Club.
