From May to September, during the rainy season in Myanmar, Meta IV sails from Burma to Borneo, following the old Spice Trade Route travelled by merchants and adventurers over the centuries.
Our
cruise will take us from Burma to Phuket in Thailand, continuing
through Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, all the way to Sabah in
Borneo - and back.
This is a journey of discovery and adventure
through the heart of Southeast Asia. Expect ancient port towns, World
Heritage Sites, national parks and gorgeous waters.
This is a cruise of huge diversity. You will start from the tip of
the Malay Peninsula, cross the South China Sea along a chain of
Indonesian archipelagos all the way to Sarawak on Borneo. Both Singapore
and Kuching have international airports connecting you globally.

Hotel description
Meta IV was designed by the naval architect Thomas E. Colvin, who gave the vessel her beautiful shape and robust hull. She is made entirely of Thai teak, one of the best woods for building classic boats.
The boat has four guest cabins, each fully air conditioned with ensuite bathrooms and electric toilets. Two of the cabins boast queen-size beds, while the other two feature twin beds.

Location description
Step aboard our classic yacht in Singapore. Within no time, the hustle and bustle of city life will seem ages away as we sail onto the open ocean.
Malaysia’s Tioman Island's densely forested isle is sparsely inhabited and surrounded by protected coral reefs, making it an amazing scuba diving and snorkelling spot.
From Tioman, we sail towards the rising sun. Our next stop is Indonesia's Anambas group. The main island offers a naturally protected lagoon with clear blue waters and corals.
We will continue eastward with fantastic opportunities for catching fresh fish along the way.
Last but not least, the world’s third-largest island, at the heart of maritime Southeast Asia: Borneo! We will end our cruise at Kuching, a charming city with a fascinating colonial history. This is the perfect launch pad for anyone planning to explore the wonders of Borneo.
Facilities description
Meta IV measures 85 feet in length or 25 metres. That's longer than the Santa Maria, the boat that Columbus sailed into history when he discovered the Americas. In fact, with all her space, you could almost forget you were holidaying on a yacht
Behind the cockpit is the kitchen. The entire aft of the boat is shaded and fitted with multiple dining spaces and sunbathing areas. The boat's centre is dominated by the generous galley and saloon dining area.
